Puddle Jumpers

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE SCRAP N' ART/GET SKETCHY/SRM STICKERS BLOG TRAIN, YOU CAN FIND IT HERE!  CHOO-CHOO!

My sister-in-law Danielle created another gorgeous kit called "April Showers," which is available at her shop at Divine Digital.  Anyway, here's a page I created using it:

Choo-Choo!!! It's a Blog Train!

Its time for a blog train and this one is awesome! The design teams of Scrap N'Art and Get Sketchy have teamed up together, along with SRM Stickers to provide you with inspiration and prizes!

Here's the inspiration...Get Sketchy provided this sketch:

This is the layout I created using it:

And here is what you need to do! Visit each blog on the list below. Each blogger will have a "special word" noted in their post! If you visit every blog, the words will create a sentence. After you have the full sentence, your last stop will be at the Scrap N'Art blog. You will find an email address in that final post. Email the full sentence and you will be entered to win a subscription and a prize pack from Scrap N'Art! There will be TWO winners for those prizes! Also, anyone who leaves comments on the blog posts at SRM Stickers and at Get Sketchy will be entered to win prizes from those sites as well!

What are you waiting for? If you started here, you need to head back to the beginning of the train so you don't miss a single stop! Here's the order of the blog train and we hope you have fun!

Oh, and the special word from my blog is... "READERS"!

Honest Scrap Award!

Alright, I just got tagged with the Honest Scrap Award by my sister-in-law Danielle! I am now supposed to list ten truths about myself and then pass this along to others! So here we go:
1. I am crazy about the Enneagram (I am an 8w9.) and I've typed most of my family and friends.
2. I have six tattoos and plans for at least two more.
3. I am a conspiracy theorist and proud of it -- the paranoid ones are the ones who survive!  LOL
4. In November 2008, I started practicing Aikido and I am in the dojo two to five times per week.
5. One of my most under-used talents is shooting pool.
6. I love to go to county fairs and dive bars.
7. I hate spiders.
8. My beverage of choice is a dry, full-bodied red wine. (But at a dive bar, I drink beer right out of the bottle.)
9. My favorite novel is Ahab's Wife by Sena Jeter Naslund; my favorite series is The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and my favorite work of non-fiction is The Great Influenza by John M. Barry.
10. I am frequently underestimated.

So, now I tag Caren!

Vroom!

I feel like I haven't done a layout of my son in awhile.  Here is one I created of my dear, sweet boy with some fabulous products I picked up at Shabby Princess (thanks to Scrap N' Art magazine!).

Digital Kits: "Barefoot," "Gabby," "Giggle Box," and "Sandbox"; Elements: "Things That Go"; Font: SP Shabby Squiggles (all from Shabby Princess); Adobe PSCS3
